Some results of Z. Darcute{o}czy and L. Losonczi [2] on the extensions of additive functions seem to have important applications in the theory of functional equations. In connection with the above-mentioned results, in this paper we shall deal wirh the extenions of equation $$f(x+y)=g(x)+h(y)$$
