The effects of magnetic field deflection in a Hartmann flow between two parallel planes, especially towards an electric field, are discussed graphically for different values of the Hartmann number $M$. Todd discussed the effect of the Hartmann number $M$ on the electric field in a Hartmann flow. In practical problems, it is always possible to get a magnetic field that is not exactly perpendicular to the boundaries, causing crossflow to occur. Here we try to investigate the effect of magnetic field deflection on the electric field in a Hartmann flow.
