On dynamic properties of disclinations in the continuum model

Helmut Günther

Disclinations are considered in the continuum model. With the help of the integral equation, which follows from the law of conservation of momentum energy of field theory, we study the motion of disclinations under the action of their own forces. The result is that the disclinations are related to the equilibrium position of the characteristic returning wave. Disclinations cannot perform periodic natural oscillations, only damped oscillations are possible.
