We give sharp inequalities between BMO and Bloch norms for functions defined on a proper subdomain $D$ of $R$. In connection with this we establish a version of Lindelöf theorem for bounded harmonic function (more general for Bloch function). Some application of those results and sufficient and necessary condition for a function to belong BMO and Bloch space are given.
