Approximation of $\boldsymbol p$\,-Bounded Variation Functions By Generalized de la Vallée Poussin Means of Negative Order

The rate of convergence of negative order generalized de la Vallée Poussin means of the Fourier series of a $2\pi$-periodic function of $p$-bounded variation, is estimated. The result can be viewed as generalization of a result of the well-known Weiner's theorem and quantitative version of it.
