Exponential spline approach for the solution of nonlinear fourth-order boundary value problems

Pooja Khandelwal, Arshad Khan

Exponential sextic spline function is used for the numerical solution of nonlinear fourth-order two-point boundary value problems. Spline relations are derived and direct methods of order two, four and six are obtained. Convergence analysis of the methods is discussed. The proposed method is tested on linear and nonlinear problems. Comparisons are made to confirm the reliability and accuracy of the proposed technique.
