We study the asymptotic behaviour of solutions of the Cauchy problem $u'=\bigl(\sum_{j=1}^n (A_j+A_j^{-1})-2nI\bigr)u$, $u(0)=x$ as $t\to\infty$, for invertible isometries $A_1,\dots,A_n$.
