The present Bibliography contains the list of 2087 catalogues and lists of star positions from the earliest times up to our days. The goal we set before us was to indude, if not all, then at least the more significant works of the kind. From the bibliographical and supplemental data it is possible to form - in most instances - an idea of the character of each separate catalogue or star list. Unfortunately, our informations arc not complite - details on some of the works are missing- a result of our not being able to directly study all catalogues and lists, being thus forced to content ourselves by the "second hand" information.
