We give some necessary and sufficient conditions for multistep iterative process with errors for asymptotically quasi-nonexpansive type mappings converging to a common fixed point in convex metric spaces. The results presented in this paper extend the corresponding results of Chang et al. [4], Kim et al. [7] and many others.
