In [5], the concept of compatible mappings was introduced as a generalization of commuting mappings. The utility of compatibility in the context of fixed point theory was demonstrated in in many papers. In this paper, we extend the result of M. Imdad and A. Ahmad [4] in metric spaces, Y. J. Cho, K. S. Park, T. Mumtaz, M. S. Khan [1] in 2-metric spaces and M. Stojakovic [8] in Menger spaces.
