In the paper a new notion on a commutative semigroup wi th a nontrivial subadditive and homogeneous functional - Chauchy sequence condition is introduced and with it a general theorem on convergences is obtained. As consequences of this theorem, some Orlicz--Pettis theorems are obtained.
