In a paper [15] V. Popa introduced <new classes of multi functions called upper almost continuous (u.a.c.), lower almost continuous (l.a.c.) and almost continuous (a.c.) which are generalizations of upper semicontinuous (u.a.c.) lower semlconti nuous (l.s.c.) and continuous multifunctions respectively. The purpose of the present paper is to investigate some properties of these multifunctions and to obtain a new characterization for paracompact spaces.
