Legal protection of the IPR has significant importance for modern states and it has both global and national components. Global economic aspects of the IPR protection includes fulfillment of all basic principles of the multilateral conventions and adoption in the national legislation. Due to the changes in modern economy and business strategy, new legal tools of protection are introduced. We are facing the digital challenge on the field of the infringement of the IPR. In order to join and participate in international organizations National Parliament of Serbia adopted the changes of the Criminal law by introducing new criminal offense Unauthorized use of another man right of the author and related rights from Article 183a.
