SCIENCE BASED DATING IN ARCHAEOLOGY

A brief survey of mostly common used methods of dating in archaeology – based on physics and related sciencies. Mainly, because of the influence they made on rapid development of archaeology during the last few decades of XX century, exspecially after Libby's discovery of radicarbon 14C dating tehnique (Nobel prize in 1960). In recent years, at many institutions around the world, archaeometrists are being trained at both the master's and doctoral levels, to trace some new ways of answering the questions of the past.
