This text represents a part of two working group discussion reports of CERME 4 (2005) and CERME 6 (2009) about applications and modelling in school. The paper is composed of two parts, the reports of Garbiele Kaiser and Morten Blomh\o j. These discussions demonstrated that autors doesn't understand at the same way a princip of modelling and, because of it, in first part we introduce with different classification of perspectives on modelling, their personal differences and similarity and their relations to earlier approaches, given from various speakers. In the second part, discussion of work group is concered on the researh of modelling of his use in class or, in wider sense, in education.
