In this paper we introduce a general form of determinantal representation of generalized inverses, for matrices which admit rank factorizations over an integral domain. We investage necessary and sufficient conditions for existence of generalized inverses. Finally, we examine correlations between the minors of generalized inverses and minors of the source matrix.
