We introduce a kind of generalized fuzzy closed sets in terms of fuzzy grills, termed $\Cal{G}_{gf}$-closed sets, and discuss their basic properties. We also define $\Cal{G}_{gf}$-continuity and characterize it by $\Cal{G}_{gf}$-closed sets. We further define $\Cal{G}_{gf}$-regularity and $\Cal{G}_{gf}$-normality and study their behaviours by means of $\Cal{G}_{gf}$-closed sets.
