We prove that tightness, $T$-tightness and set tightness coincide with their closed splittable versions. It Is also shown that, these results are no longer true in the case of splittability with respect to continuous maps. In additional we give a partial answer to the question whether a space which is closed splittable over the class of sequential spaces is itself sequential.
